About me.
Welcome to my first Internet store, which belongs to me, where I am the sole master and boss. My name is Rasa Krumina. And I live in Latvia. Latvia is a small country near the Baltic Sea. Finland and Sweden are on the other side of the Baltic Sea. But with big Russia, my country has a land border. After 50 years of occupation, my country regained its freedom again, lost in 1941. As the Communist regime collapsed, it was replaced by wild capitalism.
Real times of chaos began, when many companies and public authorities were liquidated but people stayed without work and livelihood. I lost my job too. I hadn't finished high school, so I couldn't find a good job. So I couldn't be picky, but I had to do what was offered. And offered me to learn to sew and then work as a seamstress.
It was very difficult at first. But when there were the first victories, I liked to sew. Then there was the chance to learn how to make sewing patterns, and it gave me a sense of freedom. Then there were many victories and so many losses, both learning from my own and others' mistakes. And after all that, I already have enough knowledge and experience to start my own independent business.
